If we are able to add your release to our projects, be prepared to provide us with lyrics for your songs, as this will go a long way in helping us dive in and get to know your music better, so we can write about it at the level of detail that it deserves.
For writers - If you are interested in writing for Your Town Music, we would love to consider enlisting your help. Please reach out using the contact form below and tell us more about your musical tastes, your background (musicians and songwriters are welcome to serve as writers!), and general interest in this passion project. Along with your background and statement of interest, please include links to existing writing samples (e.g. articles, blog posts, long Facebook posts, etc). Don’t have existing samples? That’s okay! Instead, you may provide a short write-up of a song that speaks to you, including a brief background on the artist, a description of what the song does, and how it does it. Specifics are great, big picture is great too - don’t overthink it.
